The mattress base is only 29" off the ground with an easy to climb ladder making it perfect for the little kids. The bedposts are over 3" thick and the 1" thick bed rails are attached with our exclusive steel bracket system instead of just the 2 bolts commonly used on other beds. This makes the Outback one of the sturdiest loft beds available guaranteed ! The bed comes with a roll out desk with shelves, bookcase and a 3 Drawer chest, compare this with other similar models and you will find this is almost half the price of our competitors. The Outback is constructed from solid Brazilian pine and finished with a lead free 3 step Pecan finish, not particle board or veneers like the others and the ladder is reversible giving you even more options.
